X-Men: The Gifted Info

The Gifted is an upcoming American television series created for Fox by Matt Nix, based on Marvel Comics’ X-Men properties. It is connected to the X-Men film series, the second television series to be so. The show is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, with Nix serving as showrunner.

The series stars Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker as ordinary parents who take their family on the run after they discover their children’s mutant abilities. The series received a put pilot commitment at Fox after a previous attempted X-Men series did not move forward at the network in 2016; The Gifted was ordered to series in May 2017.

Donner explained in January 2017, that, unlike the first X-Men series Legion, this series “is much more a part of just the world in terms of there are mutants, mutants are hated … you feel like you’re here in the X-Men world.” Despite this, the “cinematic universe will not worry about … these TV worlds at all. The films will just continue in the way that they have been continuing”. Nix added that the X-Men films “don’t all line up perfectly. So it’s not like I’m slavishly fitting myself into a particular slot but if you like that world and the world of the movies, there are definite nods to it, it definitely exists in the same general universe.” He wanted this connection to be more general than that between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying “I think that is cool but S.H.I.E.L.D. already did that.”

The Gifted is set to begin airing during the 2017–18 television season.

Who will be in Iron Man 4?

Back in October, Marvel Studios announced their massive Phase Three line up which includes Avengers: Infinity Part 2 along with the other nine movies. There were rumors that the studio is developing Iron Man 4 for 2019 release however it wasn’t clear if Robert Downy Jr. will be starring in it, but during his interview in The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen asked RDJ if there’s gonna be a Iron Man 4 and RDJ answered:

“I know there’s gonna be a bunch more of Marvel movies and they have big ideas of how to do it best and we are in the middle of negotiation”

then Ellen ask him directly and RDJ said”Yes”, But if you pause for a second and think about his answer, RDJ might only had said “yes” to appease his host because if he wasn’t so sure he could’ve answered “Maybe” or “We’ll see” but then again he answered straight up “YES” but we aren’t sure if he will be in it.

There are also speculations that Ty Simpkins, who portrayed the youngster Harley Keener in Iron Man 3 will be the new protagonist in Iron Man 4(This news hasn’t been confirmed yet by Marvel or Disney at the moment).

During Iron Man 3 director Jon Favreau actually wanted the character to be the main villain of the first Iron Man. Favreau had the Mandarin penciled in as the original film’s main antagonist, but shifted focus to Obadiah Stane once Jeff Bridges took the role. Favreau believed that introducing the Mandarin “seemed too ambitious in the first one,” and thought the more fantastic elements of the character would be better off introduced in a sequel.

The authentic Mandarin was actually talk about but not yet expose in the Marvel-One Shot: All hail the king where Trevor Slattery was placed in Seagate Prison for his involvement with Aldrich Killian’s War. Slattery is a celebrity there, and even has a “butler” He was then interviewed by Jackson Norriss, who is ostensibly creating a documentary about Slattery. During Norriss’ final session with Slattery, Norriss is revealed to be a member of the Ten Rings, and attempts to kill Slattery. Norriss says that the real Mandarin is mad at Slattery for making a mockery of his name.
